ABOUT US
Carnarvon Cactus Garden started as a hobby for Rob Westcott. Rob’s passion for cacti came from his father.
"Dad had a couple of little cactus plants at home when I was a youngster, and when I left and bought my own place, I took a couple with me."
The first cacti at the garden were planted over 15 years ago. The ‘hobby’ quickly became a place of interest to many who passed by on the Fruit Loop Trail.
Today, we have over 350 cactus plants in 30 different varieties, some of which tower over 5m tall!
The Cactus Garden welcomes hundreds of weekly visitors who stop to admire the gardens and snap their Insta-worthy pics.
We enjoy helping many people learn about the cactus and take pleasure in our garden.

Fruit Loop Drive Trail
Cactus Garden is located on the ‘Fruit Loop’ drive trail. A 10km round trip along North and South River Road reveals the heart of the horticultural industry in Carnarvon. As you embark on the drive, you'll pass by local produce stores and active plantations where you can check out an array of preserves, dried fruits and freshly made ice creams crafted from seasonal fruits and veggies.

Coral Coast
